This product is fully CNC-machined from 6061-T6 aluminum alloy. Its key feature is compatibility with various TAROT 450 models for upgrades. The new split-type main rotor grip assembly (TL48013) employs a nut with a locating hole, allowing for tool-free tightening and convenient operation.
The main rotor grip features a separate, extended arm (TL48014) designed as a consumable/wear part, significantly reducing replacement costs. The newly designed, larger-sized bearing housing centrally positions the thrust bearing, which indirectly extends the bearing's moment arm for side loads, reducing play and wobble. The large-size bearings can withstand stronger tensile forces to meet the high-power demands of current mainstream models.
Newly added M2.5 ball links are installed without stress; their stepped thread design provides better contact surfaces and avoids stress concentration points at the threads. The new split-type main rotor grip assembly (TL48013) is compatible with all 450DFC upgrades where the rotor hub width is 27mm. It includes a matching [450DFC Anti-Ejection Feathering Shaft TL48009].
The new anti-ejection feathering shaft incorporates an overall tensile strength design based on 480-class specifications. It uses full-thread, grade 12.9 M2.5 screws to secure the shaft, effectively reducing the probability of blade ejection. The effective thread depth inside the feathering shaft reaches 8mm to avoid stress concentration points under impact.
The main rotor hub now features a main shaft locking design that effectively clamps the main shaft to prevent hub wobble. The flybarless main rotor hub adopts an ultra-low center of gravity design, bringing the rotor disc closer to the aircraft's center of gravity. This improvement enhances the crispness of 3D maneuvers such as rolls, tic-tocs, and pendulums, increases stability during hover, and provides stronger, more precise control feedback. It can be upgraded using the original model's main shaft.
